International Women's Day 2021 was observed at ICMR-NICPR on March 8, 2021.

The day was celebrated with zeal and enthusiastic participation by the staff of NICPR.
 An interactive webinar was conducted on “How to live a Stress Free Life” by a qualified life skills trainer. She elaborated on the causes of stress and the tools to tackle it.
 A Nukkad Natak was performed in the institute by the college students of Post Graduate Degree College,Noida. The play portrayed stories on stereotypes and gender discrimination which exists in our society with the aim to sensitize the society against this bias for females.
 A painting competition was organized on the theme “ I am and I will ”. 14 enthusiastic participants of NICPR showcased their creations. The paintings depicted women’s full and active participation in all areas of life and also being at the forefront of the battle against Covid-19 as front line workers,Scientists, doctors, caregivers, police personnel e.t.c...

Online awareness program on Cervical Cancer

The month of January is observed as Cervical Cancer Awareness month. An online awareness program on cervical cancer for professors/teachers/staff/students of Degree Colleges was organized by ICMR-NICPR on 19th January 2020. The topics covered during the program included importance of cervical cancer screening, risk factors and warning signs of cervical cancer, self-collection of sample for HPV testing and HPV Vaccination. Around 135 participants enthusiastically attended the program from various colleges in Delhi/NCR.
